Timothy is a barrister and international arbitration partner based in Singapore. He advises on and acts as counsel in arbitrations under the rules of the major arbitral institutions with a focus on investment disputes in a wide range of sectors and across jurisdictions such as Vietnam, Indonesia, China, India, Malaysia and Myanmar.
Timothy represents clients in international arbitrations under all the major institutional rules of arbitration such as the ICC, UNCITRAL, LCIA and SIAC. His practice focuses on disputes concerning energy (oil and gas, power and renewables), infrastructure and projects, construction and engineering and other commercial disputes. He frequently appears before arbitral tribunals and emergency arbitrators, and sits as arbitrator appointed by institutions, other arbitrators and parties.
He is the author of the leading Singapore arbitration book, International Arbitration in Singapore: Legislation and Materials (Sweet & Maxwell, 2018), reviewed as "an impressive comprehensive guide to the law and practice of international arbitration in Singapore", "learned, succinct, and absolutely to the point", "an invaluable resource" whose "breadth of coverage is truly remarkable".

As Chief Investment Officer - Asia based in Singapore, Tom Glasgow leads the Asian investment activities and business expansion for Omni Bridgeway.
He is responsible for assessing and managing funded cases and portfolios throughout Asia, including arbitration, litigation and insolvency claims.
Before joining Omni Bridgeway, Tom was a senior member of Allen & Overy’s international arbitration and disputes practice in Asia. In this role, he handled complex multi-jurisdictional commercial matters for global businesses across numerous sectors including financial services, automotive, energy production, industrial manufacturing and construction.
Tom has managed international arbitrations under most leading sets of institutional rules, seated in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Manila and London, and related court applications across various jurisdictions in Asia and elsewhere.
Before moving to Asia, Tom worked with leading New Zealand law firm, Russell McVeagh, where he represented local and multi-national clients in high-end commercial matters. He holds dual degrees in Law and International Relations, and is a qualified lawyer in New Zealand and Hong Kong.
Tom is a frequent guest speaker and panellist throughout Asia on the topics of dispute funding, litigation and arbitration.
