Zarchi Sawnai is an Executive Producer and Entrepreneur. She started her career in advertising in 2012 at Ogilvy & Mather Myanmar as an Account Executive and was eventually promoted to Associate Account Director.

In 2016, after spotting the gap for quality creative video production, Zarchi took a step towards her dream of being an entrepreneur and founded Z Productions, the first woman-led commercial production house in Myanmar. Z Productions is now one of the leading production companies in Myanmar, working with more than 70 brands such as Heineken, ABC Extra Stout, Tiger, Bawdar, Grand Royal, and Unilever and producing over 100 commercials in a wide array of products and services.

In addition to delivering high-quality content for brands, Zarchi is also passionate about creating short films that raise awareness on environmental and social issues such as; The first film, “Bo Bo & Mo Mo,” advocating for the end of illegal wildlife trade, has won two awards at the Luang Prabang Film Festival, organized by WWF and the British embassy. Her second short film, titled “Behind the Silence,” “aimed at raising awareness on domestic violence, now reached over 4 million people and is used by the United Nations as a part of their Activism Against Gender-Based Violence in Myanmar.

Zarchi is recognized for her strong commitment to finding creative solutions, and she continues raising the bar in Myanmar's production industry.

Sandi Sein Thein, originally from Shan State (Eastern part of Myanmar), grew up in Yangon & moved to Singapore in her early twenties to pursue her career. In 2014, her return to Myanmar was accompanied by the start of a digital marketing agency in Yangon, called Digital Kaway, one of the earliest in the field. At the same time, with a passion for women empowerment, she kicked off the local chapter of Women in Tech, known as "Geek Girls Myanmar". This is a platform for IT students, professionals, and entrepreneurs in the ICT field, providing empowerment and visibility to women in the predominantly male sector.

In 2017, Forbes magazine featured her as one of the "Pioneer Women who smashed the Glass Ceiling in Asia" and listed in its 30 Under 30 Asia for the category of “Media, Marketing & Advertising”. In the same year, The Holm Report named her as one of "The innovator 25 SEA" in its 2017 edition. Later that year, she was invited by an organization associated with the crown prince of Saudi Arabia to speak at the Misk Global Forum in Riyadh on women's participation in the civil rights movement in Myanmar.

As one of her impactful works, she and her GeekGirlsMyanmar team traveled throughout the country & helped women in rural areas develop digital literacy skills with the support of the US Department of State. In addition to participating in several panels, discussions, and talks, she has served as Show Host for Tea Talks Myanmar, a Facebook (Meta) - supported online campaign dedicated to digital literacy. As she progresses, she continues to address issues related to digitalization, communications, women empowerment, and social justice.

Myat Thiengi, Senior Account Manager, has been in the communications industry for almost 8 years working for leading local and international clients - including Coca-Cola, Mastercard, OSOTSPA and Manulife for numerous corporate and consumer campaigns. Before her comeback to ERA Myanmar, Myat led both external and internal communications of a tech NGO and the biggest accelerator in Myanmar. There, she managed PR and social media campaigns to raise awareness on Myanmar’s tech and social Impact ecosystems, developed creative content stories around tech entrepreneurship, digital rights and data literacy.

At ERA, Myat and her team have been working with ERA’s strategic communications clients as well as regional PR partners to lead the on-ground executions, consulting for international clients, providing timely insights for strategic decision-making and reputation management.
