Thuta Aung
CEO of HamsaHubU Thuta Aung is the Country Representative for PUM Netherlands. This is a voluntary role where high quality SME support can be coordinated with almost no costs to Myanmar based entrepreneurs. Thuta has a background in academia (having lectured in England, Malaysia and high level public institutions in Myanmar), international development, management consulting and business incubation. He is the CEO of HamsaHub Consulting and Executive Chairman of The Mandalay Forum for East Asian Studies. Since 2018 October, he was appointed by the Union Government as a Commissioner within the Myanmar Competition Commission. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts, Manufactures and Commerce.
