Aung Thein Tun (Chartered MCSI)
Managing Director of Institute of Business and Investment Management (IBIM)Aung Thein Tun is the Managing Director of the Institute of Business and Investment Management (IBIM). IBIM is a leading finance and investment education provider in Myanmar. It is an accredited training partner of UK-based professional bodies Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI), Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and Intuition.
Aung is the secretary of the Society of Technical Analysts (UK) Myanmar Chapter and Myanmar Private Higher Education Institutions Association (PHEIA).
He is a UK repatriate and studied financial market analysis at LSE in London. He has more than 17 years of experience in proving financial market analysis, IT and training. He is a certified trainer and he teaches the CISI, STA/CFTe, ICAEW and Intuition training courses. The courses cover capital market, financial management, financial market analysis, financial compliance, risk management, corporate finance, wealth and investment management qualifications.
Aung is also a managing partner of IBIM Consulting that offers business and financial advisory services such as valuation, business modelling, financial modelling, corporate restructuring and M&A services.
He is the very first chartered member and CISI accredited trainer who introduced the CISI qualifications and Intuition training courses in Myanmar. He is actively contributing his knowledge and skills in capacity building and capital market development in Myanmar.
