Peter Crowhurst is the Chief Executive Officer of the British Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar, appointed by the Board of Directors to the role in December 2018.

Peter has a wealth of experience, having spent the past thirty years working in Asian Markets. Initially Peter worked in Hospitality at General Manager level, in Hong Kong and China, but moved on into Real Estate, becoming an Asset and Investment Manager with ING. In this role he supported real estate development and investment projects in China and Taiwan. During his time in with ING and latterly CBRE Global Investors, Peter was responsible for portfolios in Taiwan and Singapore, with assets in excess of USD 650 Million.

Peter’s relocation to Myanmar was orchestrated through Yoma Strategic Holdings, whom he joined in 2013 when based in Singapore. Peter moved to Myanmar full time in 2014 as Head of Real Estate Asset Management at Yoma Strategic.

While at the Chamber Peter aims to support British business, together with the UK Government Department of International Trade, bringing investment and trade opportunities to Myanmar. Peter will also focus on developing initiatives, alongside the Chamber team, for bi lateral trade from Myanmar to the United Kingdom. One of the top objectives of such initiatives is job creation and benefits for Myanmar citizens.

Peter was part of the founding team that established the British Chamber of Commerce and has served on the board for the last five years since its inception.

H.E. U Kyaw Zwar is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and non-resident Ambassador to Sweden, Ireland and Denmark

Ambassador U Kyaw Zwar Minn has been Myanmar’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom since 5 October 2013. Previously he served as the Ambassador to France, and non-resident accreditation to Andorra, Spain and Swiss Confederation and as Ambassador to the Myanmar Permanent Mission of United Nations in New York.

U Myo Thu has a diploma in husbandry and also a MBA from the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. He became a Deputy Director of Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization, Naypyidaw in 2020 before he was a Director of the Department of Trade Promotion, Naypyidaw in 2015. Before that, he worked as Regional Manager at Myanmar Agriculture Produce Trading (MAPT), he has worked with the MAPT starting from being a Township Manager at Thar Zi Township from 1991.

Vice President of International Relations, Local Business Development and Secretary of the Economic Research and Standardization Committee and CEC of UMFCCI.

Born and Educated with an engineering degree from London, returned to Myanmar in 1990 to start his entrepreneur career, his major business is in directories and research now employing over 700 staff in 8 offices in Myanmar. He is acknowledged as one of the pioneer of marketing in Myanmar with his extensive experience in managing the advertising and research services needed by nearly all the major consumer brands and non-government institutions. As such he is the joint venture partner for Nielsen the world’s largest market research agency.

He dedicates most of his time promoting Myanmar and as one of the founding members of UMFCCI when it became a Federation. He is a Council member for Myanmar with the ASEAN Business Council, Greater Mekong Sub region business council and ACMECs and has participated in international forums seminars for over a decade.

On social responsibility he restarted the Rotary Club in Myanmar, Chair of Market Research Association of Myanmar, and the Development Director of the Yangon Heritage Club and was secretary of the Presidential advisory council NESAC with the last government.

model.
I have implemented Inclusive Business model in agricultural value
chain in Myanmar. I decided to work with directly with small holder farmers and convinced small holder farmers more inclusive into the value chain providing technology, seeds,
guarantee buy back, stable market, and job opportunities. I innovated this model in Myanmar by using locally available raw materials and manufacturing of safe and valueadded spice products such as chili, ginger, turmeric, lemongrass, and hibiscus for both domestic and international market.

Naw Hsar Khu Wah studied at Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore and got diploma of nursing in 2004. In 2009 she got the bachelor of Nursing Science from Latrobe University, Melbourne, Australia.

In 2010 she started working at world's leading children hospital Great Ormond Street Hospital. At present she is working as a senior nurse.

In 2020 she and a millionaire from Sarilanka founded ''Golden Green Land Company''. The vision of Golden GreenLand co Ltd;
