Graduated from the University of Strathclyde - BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry and Master Brewer, IBD (M.Brew) in 1996. More than 33 years’ service in the International Brewing & Distilling Industries.

17 years at Inver House Distillers as the Master Blender for the company’s entire range of Scotch Whiskies, including four different single malts and the Hankey Bannister, Catto’s and Inver House Blends. MacArthur’s Blended Scotch Whisky is one of the famous products that he has blended. The blends have a unique style of Scotch whisky and have won many Gold Medals from round the world.

Jen Queen currently serves as the creative force behind the cocktails at Union Bar and Grill, Gekko, and Parami with 57 Below hospitality in Myanmar. Her mentorship of Yangon’s industry professionals has earned her the title of Wine and Spirits Ambassador of the year, and she currently holds the only Master Mezcalier certification in Asia. Queen has been deemed a pioneer of up and coming hospitality industries: formerly in Cambodia with her work at La Familia, and with current endeavors in Myanmar. Known for connecting communities, sharing knowledge, and promoting overall growth, she has quickly become a voice for the bartenders of Yangon with open forum training seminars, and educational tasting events.

Her discovery of new flavors and experience continues with each new project, and she is proud to be an influence in the region. She remains a friend in many cities, who shares not only an adoration for booze, but a drink with anyone in need of a proper welcome.

Don comes from a long line of bagpipers, so it was inevitable that he would start playing the pipes. Whilst living in Asia for over 12 years, he has been the solo bagpiper at many
events, and this is his third performance at the British Chambers Burns night.

He is also the creator of The Bald Piper Shampoo Company.
