Tatum Albertine is an international business advisor with six years of global leadership experience involving government relations, policy advocacy, developing international business partnerships, and supporting strategic business initiatives. She connects people to resources and translates vision and strategy into operations.

Tatum serves as the Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar, where she helps U.S.-based organizations to connect with valuable opportunities in Myanmar and advocates on behalf of AMCHAM members to promote economic prosperity for communities within Myanmar and the U.S. She oversees the operational and programmatic aspects of AMCHAM.

Her background as a professional researcher with the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University and the Access to Knowledge for Development Center at The American University in Cairo has enabled her to excel at navigating and managing governmental affairs and policy advocacy work. She also worked for the U.S. Department of State at the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Myanmar, and at the Smithsonian Institution after graduating cum laude from Mount Holyoke College with her B.A. in Gender Studies and Philosophy. She is a U.S. citizen based in Yangon full-time.

Hans Anand Beck is a macroeconomist with 20 years of experience working on economic development issues. He is currently the World Bank Lead Economist for Myanmar. Before this he held several positions at the World Bank, including Senior Country Economist for Indonesia and advisor to the United Kingdom Executive Director to the World Bank and IMF, through the aftermath of the global financial crisis. He has also worked as a Country Economist for the UK Department for International Development and the European Commission, working in countries such as Vietnam, Pakistan and the Congo (DRC). Hans started his career as a Fellow with the UK’s Overseas Development Institute. He holds an MSc Econ and BSc Econ from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Guillaume REBIERE has been working as the Executive Director of CCI France Myanmar, the French Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar since 2015. Before that, he oversaw implementing projects for the Chamber of Commerce of Lorraine (France) to support the economic development of mountainous regions in Europe. He also worked in Myanmar between 2001 and 2003, after starting his career in advertising in Paris (France). He has a Master’s in Political Sciences and a Post-Master’s in European Public Relations from France.

Established in early 2014, the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Myanmar is part of the AHK network and supports German companies with a range of tailor-made services.

The Delegation works on inquiries regarding exports, investment, sourcing and project activities. It closely co-operates with local institutions, especially the UMFCCI (Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry) and fosters contacts with Myanmar companies.

The Delegation works alongside the German Myanmar Business Chamber (GMBC).

Peter Crowhurst is the Chief Executive Officer of the British Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar, appointed by the Board of Directors to the role in December 2018.

Peter has a wealth of experience, having spent the past thirty years working in Asian Markets. Initially Peter worked in Hospitality at General Manager level, in Hong Kong and China, but moved on into Real Estate, becoming an Asset and Investment Manager with ING. In this role he supported real estate development and investment projects in China and Taiwan. During his time in with ING and latterly CBRE Global Investors, Peter was responsible for portfolios in Taiwan and Singapore, with assets in excess of USD 650 Million.

Peter’s relocation to Myanmar was orchestrated through Yoma Strategic Holdings, whom he joined in 2013 when based in Singapore. Peter moved to Myanmar full time in 2014 as Head of Real Estate Asset Management at Yoma Strategic.

While at the Chamber Peter aims to support British business, together with the UK Government Department of International Trade, bringing investment and trade opportunities to Myanmar. Peter will also focus on developing initiatives, alongside the Chamber team, for bi lateral trade from Myanmar to the United Kingdom. One of the top objectives of such initiatives is job creation and benefits for Myanmar citizens.

Peter was part of the founding team that established the British Chamber of Commerce and has served on the board for the last five years since its inception.

Andrew has over fifteen years’ experience delivering buildings projects in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Myanmar as Job Manager and Job Director. Andrew has served as the Beca project leader for complex projects such as building assessments, airport terminals, data centres, green office buildings, distribution centres, shopping malls, office fitouts and large condominiums.

Currently Andrew is based in Yangon, Myanmar and in addition to managing the Building Services and Structural Engineering sections, also serves as Country Manager for Myanmar and as Job Director on a number of projects. Andrew is a registered International Professional Engineer by Engineering New Zealand and a Registered PE (RLPE) with the Myanmar Engineering Council.

Andrew also serves as President of the New Zealand Myanmar Chamber of Commerce.
