Peter brings a wealth of experience, having spent the past thirty years working in Asian Markets. Initially Peter worked in Hospitality at General Manager level, in both Hong Kong and China. Following on Peter moved into Real Estate, becoming an Asset and Investment Manager with ING. In this role he supported real estate development and investment projects in China and Taiwan. During his time with ING and latterly CBRE Global Investors, Peter was responsible for portfolios in Taiwan and Singapore, with assets in excess of USD 650 Million.

Peter’s relocation to Myanmar was orchestrated through Yoma Strategic Holdings, whom he joined in 2013 when based in Singapore. Peter moved to Myanmar full time in 2014 as Head of Real Estate Asset Management at Yoma Strategic Holdings.

Peter was part of the founding team that established the British Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar and has served on the board for five years before taking up the role as CEO.

Sai Than Lwin is a Programme Officer at WWF-Myanmar since June 2019 and supporting the overall implementation of Sustainable Infrastructure Programme that aims to integrate biodiversity conservation, inclusive and climate resilient aspects in transport infrastructure development by working closely with the stakeholders in Myanmar. Focus of his work involves identifying and enabling key partnerships with with non state actors to help save nature’s bank account which is natural capital.

Program Manager, Sustainable Infrastructure at WWF-Myanmar

Urvana Menon is Program Manager, Sustainable Infrastructure at WWF-Myanmar. In her current role at WWF, she leads the development, coordination and implementation of Myanmar’s sustainable infrastructure development agenda with an emphasis on policy advocacy for sustainable linear infrastructure in trans-boundary projects and multi-country projects such as the Belt and Road Initiative. Her focus over the years has included environment and conservation policy, climate and infrastructure risk reduction, trans-boundary and regional cooperation for ecosystem management in India, Nepal , Bhutan and now Myanmar.
