Working with others - A Life At Work_ A Life Of Learning

Together with Wall Street English, British Chamber of Commerce Myanmar brings a series of webinar under "A Life At Work_A Life of Learning" to develop your English Skill in your career life.

This series of 6 monthly sessions of 90 minutes each covers the whole range of a person's employment both from the viewpoint of a team member and a senior executive. It aims to be a forum for sharing ideas and experiences, developing and implementing strategies, and for gaining insight into practices (good and bad).

The course will introduce or review English language, grammar and vocabulary used in the world of work. Attendees will be able to practice their speaking, listening and presenting skills at each monthly session. The course is suitable for attendees whose English is at B1 level and above.

In this 5th session, we'll look at working with others. We start with the subject of outsourcing our company's activities to a supplier and, in addition, where we are the supplier providing outsourced services to our customers. What experiences have you had in this area? Next, we'll review relationships customers and suppliers have with each other, and what works best in different situations. What is your experience? Finally, we'll share our thoughts on networking. What could we be doing better? Is networking, both within our companies as well as with people from different companies, critical to our career progression?
