If you have striven for that elusive 'work life balance', then this session is for you! The British Chambers Professional Women's Network are delighted to welcome speaker Ruchi Parekh, a Singapore-based Professional Certified Coach & NLP practitioner, who will deliver a presentation exploring work-life balance and the art of saying 'no'.

Ruchi will look at the important difference between work-life balance and work-life harmony and offer insights on achieving harmony. The session will also explore the importance of learning to say 'no' - why we sometimes find it so hard to say 'no', the consequences of always saying 'yes' and a practical toolbox of strategies to help establish guilt-free boundaries, communicate assertively and command respect. This workshop should leave you inspired to say 'no' to what doesn't sit well with you, giving you better control over your time and more space to recognise and welcome new opportunities.

The presentation will be followed by our first in-person networking event in two years. Your entrance-fee includes two cocktails and canapes and other drinks will be available at 'happy hour' prices; please sign up to join like-minded women for conversation and cocktails aboard the beautiful Sanctuary Ananda boat!

(Ruchi's presentation will be through zoom and we will all be joining from the Sanctuary Ananda. But if you aren't able to join the entire event, you can still register for the presentation).

According to the law of Myanmar, Form 31 for event ticket fee won't be provided by British Chamber as the attendee is the end user of the service

Access and Cancellation

You will be sent the link to attend 24 hours in advance, then again one hour before for the speaker's presentation.

You must pay for your ticket in advance for networking event. If you are no longer able to attend please cancel your place 3 days in advance via email to events@britishchambermyanmar.com. All no shows will still be charged the entry fee. Places which have not been cancelled will not be refunded.
