Women in Negotiations - A Tool for Self-Advocacy
We're excited to invite you and your colleagues to the next PWN breakfast event on September 25 โ 'Women in Negotiations โ A Tool for Self-Advocacy', led by Venera Kusari, an experienced trainer and facilitator.
Venera (she will be there in person!) will share tips with you to increase your ability to advocate for yourself - so you can more readily speak up and communicate your needs and what is important to you.
Whether you run your own business, work as an employee or are part of a family, you are constantly negotiating (even if you don't realise it!). Negotiations are at the core of business strategy and relationship building. It comes into play whether attracting clients, establishing partnerships, growing your customer base, asking for promotion or a salary increase or dealing with family members.
Venera, an experienced multicultural trainer and researcher who has lived and worked globally, will focus on how women can overcome challenges concerning motivation, confidence, and the expectations of others.
She will explore how we approach negotiations in both professional and non-professional settings and offer practical steps to help you improve your skills. What are the best strategies to achieve a win-win outcome? Does gender play a role in how we negotiate? How do our emotions and communication style impact an outcome? How can we prepare for a crucial negotiation to ensure we get outcome we desire?
By the end of the workshop, you will have new insights and learnings to make you a more able negotiator!
