Sustainable Waste Management Training Series is brought to you by British Chamber of Commerce Myanmar and Recyglo. This training programme includes a series of four trainings.

The first training will be held in June and it aims to educate and raise awareness about effective waste management, promote sustainable practices, minimize pollution, protect human health, conserve resources, emphasize proper waste disposal, recycling and sustainable techniques.

• Discuss pollution, resource depletion, habitat destruction, and health risks

B. Waste Management Hierarchy

• Focus on the 5R's: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Repurpose
• Explanation of the order of priority

C. Best Practices for Waste Management

• Waste Reduction Strategies: promote responsible consumption, and minimize packing waste.
• Proper waste disposal and segregation
• Benefits of composting

D. Responsibilities in Waste Management

• Discuss the responsibilities of individuals, businesses, and governments in complying with waste management regulations
