Real estate and construction review: challenges, strategies, and opportunities for 2023 and beyond


2022 was a challenging year for the real estate and construction sector in Myanmar yet developers, property managers and construction firms have been creative in navigating the challenges faced. As the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic subsides, but concerns remain over rapid inflation and weakened investment sentiment, what does 2023 hold for the residential, commercial and hospitality segments of the market? What opportunities and strategies are firms pursuing to realise the sector's potential, and in which direction is real estate demand heading?


This webinar, hosted by FMR's Myanmar Real Estate & Construction Monitor team in collaboration with the British Chamber of Commerce of Myanmar, will explore some of these questions. FMR will present on its latest biannual Yangon Real Estate Market report, a comprehensive survey and assessment of pricing, occupancy, supply and demand trends in the city's residential, commercial and hotel segments, to be followed by a panel discussion with some of the leading firms operating in Myanmar's real estate sector.
