Making Meetings Work


This workshop will be delivered over two morning sessions.


Session 1 - Tuesday 20th August

Session 2 - Tuesday 27th August


This training will be delivered by the British Council in partnership with the British Chamber as part of the Profession Skills Partnership.


The split workshop is designed for working professionals who want to develop their speaking and listening skills for workplace meetings. Participants will look at the importance of preparing for a meeting, the benefits of active listening and explore the language of meetings and discussions. Participants will also learn the various roles in a meeting such as that of the chairperson, and practice participating in meetings through role-play.


This workshop is suitable for non-native English speakers with an intermediate level of English (B1) or higher.

Cost to Non-members: $95 (for both sessions)


Cancellation Policy

If you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your place at least 48 hours in advance. All no-shows will be charged the entry fee.
