Navigating Uncertainty in the Post-COVID Workplace
Nearly 7 months has passed since the W.H.O. declared the novel coronavirus an international emergency, reaching pandemic status in early March as "the most severe global health emergency we have ever seen."
Beyond the escalating health crisis, the profound effects of COVID-19 on businesses in every industry continue to be felt around the world, presenting a raft of unprecedented challenges to corporate decision-makers, not least in future-proofing their commercial real estate commitments in an era of uncertainty: "Why do we have an office? How much space do we need? What will be its ongoing purpose?"
It is estimated that, at the height of the pandemic, up to 95% of the global workforce worked from home; and it's anticipated that anywhere from 10% to 35% of employees will continue to practice some form of flexi-work. 'Corporate culture' itself is being challenged by a potentially disconnected workforce, whilst companies operating in Asia face our own unique cultural and geographical challenges. Social capital will become an indispensable asset.
This webinar will analyse the potential short- and longer-term impacts on commercial office space, workplace design and planning, and team behaviours in Asia-Pacific.
