Myanmar security: recent trends and future prospects

This webinar will be presented by EXERA, the leading security company in Myanmar. EXERA's Risk Management department has become well known in Myanmar and abroad for its monitoring and analysis services. After more than 4 months of conflict, EXERA will step back from the daily incidents for a more strategic reading of the situation. Based on comprehensive in-house data and sharp analysis, this presentation will offer a clear recap of the past events, highlight recent tipping points and draw some prospects for the future.

You will hear from Mark Wakeford, EXERA's CEO and Martin Michalon, EXERA's Head of Risk Management. Mark has worked in numerous countries around the globe, having spent 16 years with G4S, the world's largest security solutions company and time in the British Royal Navy where he was involved in Maritime Counter Terrorist operations.

Martin has a strong background in research. He has been following Myanmar closely since 2014 and has been living in the country for more than five years. He completed a PhD on the geopolitics of tourism in the Inle Lake region and has more recently produced well-recognized analysis reports and high-quality information for the business community.
