Understanding Solar Financing Options: A Practical Workshop on CAPEX VS OPEX Models

Solar power systems offer a dependable source of electricity, providing independence from traditional grids. This independence strengthens energy resilience and decreases reliance on fluctuating fuel markets. Businesses can reap numerous advantages from this reliability, such as improved operational continuity and reduced energy expenses. Moreover, integrating solar power can optimise energy usage and contribute to the long-term financial stability of businesses.

In today's energy landscape, it is imperative to explore sustainable solutions that offer both environmental and financial benefits. Solar energy is a prime example, particularly relevant in regions like Myanmar, ensuring consistent access to electricity can be challenging.

In this workshop, attendees will receive a practical guide comparing Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) and Operating Expense (OPEX) models in solar projects. Insights into the financial implications and considerations associated with both CAPEX and OPEX models will be provided. By the end of the workshop, participants will have the knowledge and tools necessary to make informed decisions about financing their solar projects effectively, with a brief mention of additional funding opportunities.
