Five Films for Freedom: Love is a Human Right
The British Council and the British Embassy cordially invite you to a screening event of Five Films For Freedom, a global, online short film programme in support of LGBTIQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer) rights, delivered via a partnership between the British Council and BFI Flare: London LGBTIQ+ Film Festival. While the programme has been running since 2015, this is the first time the #FiveFilmsForFreedom have been screened at a live event in Myanmar.
The event will be held in the open air garden of the Belmont Residence at 62 Alanpya Pagoda Road, Yangon from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on March 26, 2022.
Please note that, due to the Covid-19 situation, we have a limited number of seats available for the screening and therefore you are kindly requested to confirm your attendance via this link https://forms.office.com/r/wcebydgRtP. This is also important for security purposes as you will be required to present your ID on entry.
To keep everyone safe and so that people feel comfortable, there will be no photography at this event.
Please note that this is an invitation only event and all invitations are strictly personal.
Also, please note that there are no parking spaces available at the venue. However, cars can be parked in the street between the Belmont Residence and Yu Za Na Garden hotel.
