Enterprise Risk Management - Is your business prepared?
๏ปฟDemystifying Cyber Resilience
The British Chamber Myanmar, in partnership with Exera, International SOS and Siward Newton have come together to hold a series of events around Enterprise Risk Management, identifying all the areas where businesses are under prepared and at risk from various threats. This will be the second in the series, focusing on Demystifying Cyber Resilience, hosted by Michael Armstrong of Siward Newton.
'There is a large philosophical divide between the cyber security industry on the one hand, which is in the process of professionalising, and senior public and private sector leadership on the other. The ICT systems administration and corporate leadership teams are two groups speaking different languages. This is a global phenomenon felt as acutely here in Myanmar as anywhere else.' Says Michael.
This seminar will consider the current environment and offer solutions to the problems that you are likely encountering. Michael Armstrong will give a brief overview of the current landscape, emerging cyber threats and vulnerability landscape, before moving on to consider what can be done about it right now in Myanmar.
Many of the resources and solutions he will identify are available free to the public; a reflection of the public and private sector commitment to addressing this global cyber resilience crisis. He will discuss how these resources can inform your corporate strategy, cyber concept, workforce development plan and how to incorporate your critical incident response arrangements into your existing business continuity and crisis response plans.
Attendees should expect to come away with a better understanding of the cyber resilience landscape as it pertains to business in Myanmar, and will be furnished with a short report detailing links to the free and inexpensive resources recommended during the presentation.
