The British Chamber of Commerce Myanmar, in partnership with the Global Challenge Research Fund (GCRF), Innovate UK and the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) are delighted to welcome a delegation of Renewable Energy experts from the UK in honour of the UK Energy Catalyst Mission, covering sectors that include:

• Micro & mini grids;
• Bio fuels & associated equipment;
• Tidal & wind technologies;
• Research institutions;
• Project financing.

The mission derives from the Energy Catalyst Round 7 funding, which is a £22 million collaborative research and development grant programme, run by Innovate UK. The funding aims to support highly innovative, energy technology which meets the needs of poor households, businesses and services in Sub-Saharan Africa or South Asia; as well as aiming to solve the energy trilemma of low cost, low carbon and secure energy.

This one day seminar will include insightful presentations on Renewable Energy, the opportunity for pitching and sharing innovations, and 'speed business meetings' between UK and Myanmar companies.

Registration will be limited to companies in the Renewable Energy Sector. Refreshment and lunch will be served.
