Doing Business Responsibly in Myanmar: What does heightened due diligence mean?

Join us and our business chamber partners for this briefing with our guest speaker, Vicky Bowman, director of Myanmar Centre for Responsible Business. Frontier Myanmar editor-at-large Thompson Chau will be moderating the discussion.

Investors and other stakeholders are increasingly calling for companies doing business in conflict-affected countries like Myanmar to do 'heightened due diligence'. But what does that actually mean? What are the risks to stakeholders that companies need to assess in Myanmar, and how should companies identify, mitigate and report on them?

This session will be conducted under Chatham House Rule and is off-the-record.

Capacity is limited and tickets are on a first-come-first-serve basis. Prior booking is required and no walk-ins are accepted.

This event is open to the members of the British Chamber of Commerce Myanmar, the Myanmar-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, the Thai Business Association of Myanmar and the Myanmar-Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry only.
