Marketplace, Annual General Meeting 2019 and Networking

This year the Chambers Annual General Meeting will take a slightly different format. We are inviting members to come and showcase there wares at a mini expo in the afternoon from 3pm to 5pm, before the members only Annual General Meeting. We will provide 20 market booths for the members and it will be a first come first serve. If you are interested in reserving a booth please contact us here.

The AGM will take place between 5pm and 6pm, where we will present the Chamber's Annual Report, followed by the introduction and welcome for the newly elected Board of Directors for the 2019-20 year. Members, we need you to rattify the constitution. Voting to select the board by this time will be closed, but we cannot operate without your approval of the elected board and approval of the annual report.

If you cannot attend you must submit a proxy form nominating a representative or nominating the Chairman to vote on your behalf (ie. agreeing with his vote). Proxy can be downloaded here​ and contain instruction on returning.

Once the business is out of the way we will then invite members and non members back to the Marketplace where we will have a networking drinks reception from 6pm until 8.30pm.

Members it is vital you come to the AGM but please do arrive early to see what your fellow businesses are doing in Myanmar and around the globe.

Non Members, although you cannot attend the AGM itself you are most welcome to the Marketplace and also the networking where you can take advantage of the British Chambers connections and see what our Members are doing in the market.
