The Law of Contract in Myanmar

We are delighted to announce that Professor Adrian Briggs, Professor of Private International Law at Oxford University, representative of Oxford-Burma/Myanmar Law Programme​ and author of leading works on Myanmar including Private International Law in Myanmar (published in 2015) and The Law of Contract in Myanmar (jointly written with Andrew Burrows and published in 2017); will give two lectures for Myanmar lawyers, working with members of the Legal Working Group, on the following topics -

(1) a seminar on the law of contract in Myanmar Tuesday 3rd September

(2) a seminar on conflict of laws in Myanmar Thursday 5th September
