The British Chamber of Commerce Myanmar, in partnership with Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC), Allen & Overy (A&O) and Emerson Real Estate (ERE) will host a seminar on Foreign Investment into Myanmar Businesses. The seminar is a half day training, followed by lunch and the opportunity for one to one business meetings with all host companies.

The seminar will focus specifically on foreign investment into Myanmar businesses, with presentations by finance, legal and property experts from PwC, A&O and ERE.

The purpose of the seminar is to share insights into the following topics with the Mandalay business community:

• What sectors foreign investors are looking at investing into;
• What foreign investors look for in a local business or a public-private partnership;
• An introduction on how business valuations and property valuations work in practice.

The seminar will be conducted predominantly in Myanmar. All seminar topics which are delivered by non-Myanmar speakers will be translated into Myanmar.

There will be opportunities throughout the day to network, and the host companies will be available following lunch for one to one discussions.
